I went to the same medical school but never had the pleasure of meeting Dr Akunjee. We heard and knew of his family, who are pillars in the community. His books were mandatory reading if you wanted to do well on final then GP exams. There were lots of resources out there, but so many of us preferred his books because they were concise, thorough and no-nonsense….which is what we needed weeks before any exam. I pray that all of us who passed because of you, may every life we help and save be a sadaqah jariyah for you. You were the best of us. The cream of us.
